Similarities and Differences of the Doodle Fiction, Manga and Graphic Novel




Modern literary genres presently used by 21st century writers



Literature is a broad term that refers to any collection of written works, more narrowly used for works that are particularly considered to be an art form. Literature is used as a means of preserving, transmitting and recording information and entertainment, as well as a means of fulfilling social, psychological, spiritual or political functions. There are many kinds of conventional literary genres presently used by 21st century writers. This blog will let you know the similarities and differences of the chosen 3 literature genres which are Doodle Fiction, Manga, and Graphic Novel in terms of structure and their elements.


21st Century Literature Genres  

  • DOODLE FICTION
-In place of standard typeface, the author uses doodle drawings and handwritten visuals in a literary presentation.

     MANGA
    -Manga is a Japanese term that means "comic book," and it is a type of Japanese literature in the same way that a novel or short story is. Other forms of media material, such as animation and games, are created with it.

    • GRAPHIC NOVEL
A graphic novel is a book that consists entirely of comics. Although the term "novel" is usually used to refer to extended fictional works, the phrase "graphic novel" is used to apply to fiction, non-fiction, and anthologized works.

DIFFERENCES IN TERMS OF STRUCTURE:
- Doodle Fictions is a style of narrative book narration, while Manga and Graphic Novels are likely structurally comparable because they are both comic book genres.

DIFFERENCES IN TERMS OF ELEMENTS:
-In terms of art style and how the piece was written, all of these genres are distinct.
SIMILARITIES:

-In order to tell a story, all of these genre use drawings, illustrations, or graphics, text, constitutional pages, and panels.
